Projects
Our solutions are applicable to many different use cases. From mobile app based reuse systems to traditional deposit-return-systems. Check out some of the selected cases below for inspiration 👇
Over 150 tonnes of single use items are thrown away at Oslo Airport yearly. This is equivalent to the weight of around four empty Boeing 737 airplanes!
Together with AVINOR we are doing something about it. In November 2024, Oslo Airport launched a reusable take away pilot at selected restaurants in the International Departures section of the Terminal.
This initiative is being carried out by AVINOR as part of the EU project TULIPS in collaboration with TU Delft- an international project aiming to make airport operations more sustainable.

Since the launch in spring of 2024, we have been operating a collection system at the University of Oslo’s main campus Blindern.
In collaboration with the German reuse pioneer Vytal and local circular plastics company AION we developed and delivered a complete, integrated reuse system for the largest canteens on the campus, operated by SiO (the welfare organisation for students at 27 educational institutions in Oslo).

Aspelin Ramm, a Scandinavian property developer, sought to reduce single-use packaging waste at their commercial properties.
Together with AION and kleen hub we have delivered a complete reuse system, including reusable bowls and kleen hub's pioneering TAP&REUSE system.
Now, visitors at Mathallen can enjoy meals in reusable bowls, borrowing them digitally and returning them easily at collection machines with a quick scan—no app needed.
Since 2022 we are a partner in the 10M€ EU Horizon fundedproject Digital Health in the Circular Economy (DiCE)
Together with global partners in a consortium lead by Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) we are researching and developing novel circular solutions for digital and electronic medical devices.
The project will run until 2026 and will culminate with three large scale pilots in Belgium, Spain and Slovenia where our smart collection system will play a key role.

Elimination of 90 000 single use food containers per year.
Together with our clients Compass Group and the Norwegian Government Security and Service Organisation (DSS) we developed and implemented a complete circular packaging system for one of their office buildings/canteens in Oslo, fully replacing the pre existing single use packaging with a return rate close to 100%.
The City of Oslo have a strategic plan to phase out the use of all unnecessary single use plastics, much of which is food packaging often ending up in the Oslofjord.
Over the years we have collaborated closely with the City of Oslo and other local partners in several projects related to reusable packaging.
The most recent being “Takeaway uten Throw Away” where we piloted a reuse system for events, including bowls designed and manufactured by fellow Norwegian circular startup AION.

Any product that fits through the hatch of the collection machine can be collected. Maximum width: 298 mm. Maximum height: 108 mm. For very large projects, the size of the hatch can be customized.
They are pretty much plug and play. A floor space of 800 x 800 mm, a standard wall socket (100-230VAC, 2A, 50/60Hz) and access to local or mobile network (the machines can be delivered with pre-installed SIM cards) is required.
All the data to- and from the machines goes through our back-end system which we make available through API:s or through custom integrations. Data is also made available through dashboards and custom reports.
Software-and-hardware-as-a-service. The machines are provided together with a selection of data and digital services on a subscription plan, with custom solutions paid for as one-time-fees.
