Why now · Regulation

Reuse is no longer optional.
It's the law.

Four regimes, one direction: operators across Europe now need return infrastructure that counts, credits and reports every container.

France · AGEC2023
Reusable tableware on-site

Reusable tableware is mandatory for on-site dining in restaurants with 20+ seats. Single-use at the table is over.

Netherlands · SUP2023–24
On-site ban + reuse offer

Single-use plastic is banned for on-site consumption since 2024, and every takeaway sale must offer a reusable option.

Germany · EWKFondsG2024
Single-use plastic levy

Producers pay an annual levy on single-use plastic packaging into a national cleanup fund. Every disposable cup now carries a cost.

EU · PPWR 2025/402027–28
Reuse offer for takeaway

Takeaway must accept customer containers by 2027 and offer reusable packaging within a reuse system by February 2028, targeting 10% of sales by 2030.
